In a Spiritual Team Healing session, Torill and Lin are working together, with an intuitive focus.
Team Healing has proven to be remarkably powerful. There seems to be strong synergistic effects in the healing process that Torill and Lin share in.
We believe that healing can be thought of as having two main components:
1) The energy balancing of the body, mind and emotions. 2) The reconnecting with the deeper aspects of Self. Peace, Joy and a sense of personal Truth emerge.
Both of these aspects are of course interrelated, and both have relevance to living a happier life. We do place emphasis on each of these aspects in the private sessions that we facilitate together.
Are there energetic components that are typically part of a healing session?
There are often elements of guided meditation as part of the process. Coupled with energetic balancing of the energy centers (chakras) that closely relate to the body’s endocrine gland system. Also traditional laying-on-of-hands or spiritual healing is used in focusing on any elements of physical pain or discomforts. This usually brings a reduction in physical and/or emotional pain.
What is the timeframe for a private Team Healing session?
A typical session usually lasts an hour.
Do you teach Team Healing techniques in workshop environments?
Torill and Lin often work together as a team in workshop processes to help facilitate an energy quickening for the participants. However we view the deeper aspects of Team Healing as a part of a training program that follows more basic healing processes. These are often part of a series of weekend workshops. We also at times have longer retreats.
There are often elements of the specifics of Team Healing in these initial workshop/training programs. But we do find that Team Healing, as a specific way of working with a partner, deserves an additional training program of its own.
Why does healing need to take time? Why can it not be relatively instantaneous?
Instantaneous healing is always possible. Yet most healers understand that the primary goal of healing is to help facilitate a deeper more profound understanding of the nature of Reality. That we live and move in the presence of the most High.
Yet to our personality’s separate sense of Selfhood, which the personality deals with; such a profound state of awareness (often called levels of Enlightenment) needs to be adjusted to over time. Healing often goes hand-in-hand with such deeper awareness. And consequently, usually takes some degree of time.
So to summarize: Healing may be explosively quick, but usually may be best understood as an acceleration of the body/mind’s movement toward wholeness. Quick or slow, healing always seems to make a difference. Perhaps the best way to understand the nature of healing processes (of which there are a vast number) is a movement to Wholeness in body, mind and spirit. A diminishment of the selfish/fearful aspects of the personality and a consequent awakening of our deeper Nature…
…One in which we all share, in the desire and movement toward a more permanent state of compassionate wisdom for self and others.
